Which Strain Can I Use To Make Kratom Soap?

Note: We will discuss two different methods (A & B) to make kratom soap in this article. One will be very easy to follow and the other will be needing your time and efforts in parallel.
Method A To Make Kratom Soap
This is the easiest way of making your kratom soap at home. Let’s take a look at what you need to start.
- Glass bowl
- Oven for baking purpose
- Molds for soap
- Kratom (powder or leaves)
- Soap bars
- Carrier oils (coconut, olive, avocado, etc.)
This method is cost-effective and saves you precious time. If you are having a busy schedule, you will surely appreciate this way to make kratom soap on your own.
Step 1: Convert soap bars into small pieces. It will be easy to melt the smaller pieces so try to make these bars as small as you can. Put these pieces in a glass bowl.
Step 2: Put the glass bowl in the oven and start melting the bars for about two minutes. Take it out and mix the bars well. If they are not properly melted, put them back in the oven for about one minute.
Step 3: Add kratom powder or leaves along with a few drops of carrier oils in the melted soap bars and mix well.
Note: If you are using kratom leaves, they will appear as soon as your soap gets frozen. Whereas, if you are going with kratom powder, it will be completely dissolved in the soap. Taking one to two spoons of powder or a few leaves is enough.
Step 4: Start pouring the mixture into the soap mold. A cupcake liner can also be used as a soap mold.
Step 5: Once your soap mold is ready, put it into the freezer. You can allow it to get hard without using a freezer.
Note: If you are not using the freezer, it may take up to 4 to 5 hours.
Step 6: If you are successfully done with all of the above-mentioned steps, take your soap out of the mold and start using it.
Method B To Make Kratom Soap
This method is a bit tricky and requires your time and effort in parallel. In comparison to the previous method, it needs more equipment and ingredients. Let’s take a look at what you need to give it a try.
- Molds to give your soap a specific shape
- Spatula (silicon made)
- Gloves to keep your hands clean
- Goggles for eyes safety
- Coconut oil
- Water (distilled one)
- Kratom leaves or powder
- Olive oil
- Potassium hydroxide solution (lye)
If you have got some exposure to make kratom soap at home, this method will be a decent option for you to go with.
Step 1: Take around 10 tablespoons of fresh lye and mix it up with 9 ounces of distilled water.
Step 2: Take forty tablespoons of coconut oil and start melting it at a low temperature.
Note: Never add water to the lye because it is not safe. You should always add lye to the water. Don’t forget to use safety glasses and gloves while performing Step 2.
Step 3: Leave the lye and water mixture for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 4: Once you are done melting coconut oil, add 20 tablespoons of olive oil and start heating it.
Step 5: When the heating temperature level reaches 52 degrees Celsius, add the lye-water mixture into it. Check its temperature using a thermometer.
Step 6: Turn your blender on to mix everything well.
Step 7: Now, start putting 1 to 2 tablespoons of kratom leaves or powder in the solution obtained from Step 6. Keep on mixing for about 15 to 20 minutes. Stop doing this as soon as you get the desired consistency of your kratom soap.
Step 8: Use cupcake liners or soap molds to pour the mixture into them and leave it to get hard for about 24 hours.
Note: If you give more time to your homemade kratom soap, the results will be much better.
